The Vive Pro uses the same 2 external base stations and the same 2 motion controllers as the first Vive.

When I say the exact same, I mean you should have a Vive on hand so that you are able to use its controllers and sensors in case you do not want to spend another $300 on the Vive Pro.

Despite the headset’s $800 price tag, it does not come with its own motion or sensors controllers like the $500 Vive does.

HTC announced a SteamVR 1.0 tracking bundle for $299 which contains 2 base stations and 2 motion controllers, cutting the a la carte cost of those accessories significantly.

It is still a pretty huge add-on for an already costly headset, however.

While we still love the Oculus Touch because of its ergonomics and a lot more conventional gaming controls, the Vive motion controllers are reliable and functional.

The PSVR 2 blog post admitted that this’s only a first update, and we will not be getting the device on store shelves in the near future, with PlayStation’s wording confirming that the playstation vr 2nd gen will not be launching in 2021.

The article also added: “sony development group has began to focus on developing brand new worlds that you should take a look at in virtual reality.”

As such, expect to begin having a trickle of PSVR 2 game announcements as much more about the device is revealed in future.

htc vive games & Apps
Valve provided access to twenty eight games, just one VR movie as well as one VR experience for me to peruse during my review.

The majority of those games were Vive exclusive, but some, like Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games, The Rose and I and TheBlu, are included on each Rift and also the Samsung Gear VR.

When I went looking for even more virtual reality content in the Steam store, I ran across 6 pages of games, apps, demos and movies.
