Lueck Asks for Trade, Gets Wish ??

August 28, 1975 – Bill Lueck is traded to the Eagles for a fourth-round draft choice, in a move that the guard says he requested. “I have a lot of different reasons for wanting to be traded,” he says, “but I’d rather not go into them.” Lueck, a first-round draft choice in 1968, started nearly every game at left guard for the Packers from 1969 through 1973.
