Ken Ellis Sets Date for Exit From Green Bay ??

August 3, 1975 – The agent for disgruntled Packers cornerback Ken Ellis says his client will stay put, but will play out his option. “He’s there to stay until May 31,” Earl Cromwell says referring to the date Ellis will be a free agent. “But he’s not going to play for Green Bay after this season.” Ellis picks off just one pass in 1975. In April 1976, he’s traded to the Oilers.
