Packers Deal Aaron Brooks to Saints ??

July 31, 2000 – With no starting job available in Green Bay, the Packers trade backup quarterback Aaron Brooks to the New Orleans Saints. Tight end Lamont Hall is included in the deal, which nets the Packers a third-round draft pick and linebacker K.D. Williams. The Packers would later trade the pick to San Francisco. Meanwhile, Brooks enjoyed a productive six-year career with the Saints, where he threw for 19,156 yards and 120 touchdowns.
