July 30, 1955 – Charles Brackins, the first African-American to play quarterback for the Packers, leads the Gold to a 14-7 win over the Green in an intrasquad game played in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The rookie from Prairie View A&M completes six of 16 passes for 72 yards and scores the winning touchdown on a quarterback sneak in the third quarter.
