Packers Hope Bobby Thomason is Their Quarterback Savior ??

July 23, 1951 – After watching Tobin Rote throw just seven touchdowns against 24 interceptions in 1950, the Packers attempt to shore up the quarterback position by acquiring Bobby Thomason. It comes at a steep price, however. Green Bay ships first and second-round draft picks in 1952 to the Los Angeles Rams for Thomason, who plays just one season with the Packers and splits time with Rote.
