Packers Land John Martinkovic From Washington ??

July 20, 1951 – The Green Bay Packers trade end Ted Cook, who was coming off a season of 16 receptions, 182 yards and three touchdowns, to Washington. In return, they get defensive end John Martinkovic. Cook never plays a game for Washington, while Martinkovic becomes one of the bright spots of the 1950s for the Packers. Martinkovic plays six seasons with the Packers and makes three Pro Bowls.
