Packers Ship Jan Stenerud to Rival Vikings ??

July 17, 1984 – The Green Bay Packers send future Hall of Fame kicker Jan Stenerud to the rival Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in 1985. Stenerud plays two seasons with the Vikings and converts a league-leading 87 percent of his field goals in 1984, while making the Pro Bowl. The Packers would draft linebacker Eric Wilson with the draft pick.
