Packers Sign Matt Hasselbeck ??

July 13, 1998 – Boston College quarterback Matt Hasselbeck agrees to terms on a three-year contract with the Packers. Andrew Brandt, Hasselbeck’s agent, says his client is aware he might have to spend a year on the practice squad to develop his arm strength, which is exactly what happens. Hasselbeck attempts just 29 passes in two years on the active roster.
