Packers Deal Taylor To Saints ??

July 6, 1967 – Disgruntled fullback Jim Taylor is traded to the Saints for a first-round draft choice in 1968 plus a player to be named later. The trade is the culmination of seven weeks of negotiations. Contacted at his home in Baton Rouge, Taylor declined to reveal the reasons for his decision to leave the Packers saying only they were “very personal.”
