In the Jordanian city of Madaba there is a unique church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious.The main value of the shrine is a floor mosaic, which depicts a map of the Holy Land. It was the first guidebook and depicted a huge territory-from Lower Egypt to Palestine (from 2 sides of the Jordan River). In its center, Jerusalem is depicted (it almost completely coincides with the modern part of the old city) with detailed objects: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and numerous city gates.
