Hutson Named League MVP ??

Feb. 11, 1942 – Don Hutson is named the National Football League’s most valuable player for 1941. According to the Milwaukee Sentinel, “the selection was made by a committee of nine newspaper men who gave him six of the nine first-place votes.” Hutson led the league in receptions (58), yards receiving (738) and receiving touchdowns (1 in 1941 while scoring a league-high 95 points.
