Packers Trade Brown to Lombardi, ‘Skins ??

Feb. 2, 1959 – Vince Lombardi and his wife, Marie, arrive in Green Bay as the former Giants assistant signs a five-year contract to become the Packers head coach and general manager. Lombardi is greeted at Austin Straubel Airport by Packers President Dominic Olejniczak, two executive committee members and the media.
