Mann, Lions Down Pack in Lambeau’s Finale ??

Dec. 11, 1949 – Bob Mann spoils Curly Lambeau’s final game as coach of the Packers. The gifted end catches eight passes for 182 yards and two TDs as the Detroit Lions power past Green Bay 21-7 at Briggs Stadium in Detroit. Mann scores from 64 and 42 yards out. A year later, he joins the Packers for the team’s final three games and then goes on to lead the team with 50 receptions in 1951.
