Oct. 7, 1945 – Don Hutson puts on a dazzling display unlike any other in NFL history. The receiver scores 29 points in one quarter in the Packers 57-21 dismantling of the Lions at State Fair Park in Milwaukee. Hutson reaches the end zone on passes of 59, 46, 17 and 6 yards as Green Bay explodes for 41 second-quarter points. He also kicks five extra points.
