Vaginal Speculums are used to restore vaginal capacity, expand the width and depth of the vagina, provide elasticity to tissues and allow comfortable sexual activity. Vaginal Speculums are smooth plastic, rubber or glass cylindrical objects with various scales and weights.



Certain medical conditions may require vaginal dilatation, including superficial dysmenorrhea, high pelvic floor dysfunction, vaginitis, induced vestibular instability, vaginal atrophy, vulvar skin disease, vaginal hypoplasia, and post-radiation adhesions.
