Packers Send Scott Hunter to Buffalo ??

July 29, 1974 – Quarterback Scott Hunter, the starter on the Green Bay Packers 1972 NFC Central championship team, is traded to the Buffalo Bills. In return, the Packers acquire defensive tackle Steve Okoniewski and running back Pete Van Valkenberg. Okoniewski starts 14 games for the Packers in 1974, while Van Valkenberg’s Packers stat line consists of just one kick return for 20 yards.
