Devine Ships Bob Jeter to Bears ??

July 22, 1971 – In one of the many questionable trades Dan Devine would make as coach of the Packers, Green Bay ships cornerback Bob Jeter to the rival Chicago Bears for running back Ross Montgomery and a 1972 6th-round draft choice. Jeter, a two-time Pro Bowler, plays three more seasons for the Bears. Montgomery doesn’t play for the Packers at all.
