Packers Reach Verbal Agreement with Donnie Humphrey ??

July 11, 1984 – Donnie Humphrey, the Packers’ third-round draft choice out of Auburn, reaches a verbal agreement with the team on a series of one-year contracts. At the time of his signing, Humphrey is listed behind Ezra Johnson at right defensive end, but the 6-3, 265-pounder goes on to start all 16 games at that position as a rookie.
