Packers’ Two First Rounders Net McCoy, McGeorge ??

Jan. 27, 1970 – With two first-round draft choices, the Packers select defensive tackle Mike McCoy (Notre Dame) and tight end Rich McGeorge (Elon College) in the draft. Prior to the draft, the Packers trade linebacker Lee Roy Caffey, running back Elijah Pitts and offensive lineman Bob Hyland to the Bears in order to move into the No. 2 spot to grab McCoy.
