Jack Vainisi’s Wife Gets Game Ball for Departed Husband ??

Dec. 4, 1960 – Mrs. Jack Vainisi is given the game ball after the Packers dismantle the Chicago Bears 41-13 at Wrigley Field. Jack Vainisi was responsible for discovering much of the talent that would win five championships in the 1960s, from Bart Starr to Ray Nitschke. Unfortunately, the talent scout never experienced a championship as he died of a heart attack at age 33 on Nov. 27.
