Hutson’s No. 14 Retired ??

Dec. 2, 1951 – Don Hutson’s No. 14 is retired at halftime during Green Bay’s 31-28 loss to the New York Yanks at City Stadium. Packers Coach Gene Ronzani presents the former pass catching end with his old jersey during a brief ceremony. Even six years removed from his playing days, Hutson remains far and away the leading receiver of all time with 488 catches.
