Packers D Picks up Slack for Injured Favre, Routs Washington ??

Oct. 20, 2002 – The Packers lose quarterback Brett Favre to a knee injury and the defense responds by clamping down on the Redskins in Green Bay’s 30-9 victory over Washington at Lambeau Field. Favre is injured on a sack by linebacker LaVar Arrington early in the third quarter. Green Bay’s defense surrenders just 67 yards after No. 4 exits the game.
